Biography:

Leonid Anisimov graduated from the Grozny Petroleum Institute and currently holds doctoral and candidate degrees in geochemistry and hydrogeology. E teaches at Russia's Volgograd State University. He was formerly the Chief Researcher at LUKOIL-Engineering, Volgograd, Russia, and the Head of the Hydrogeology and Engineering Geology Department at Saratov State University. He was employed in the South Volga and Caspian Region as a petroleum geologist and reservoir engineer. His research interests are concentrated in hydrogeology, reservoir geology, groundwater genesis, and the geological context of hydrocarbons. He has authored more than 200 research articles and four monographs.
