Critical infrastructure forms the backbone of modern society, encompassing sectors such as energy, power grids, water systems, transportation, healthcare, telecommunications, manufacturing, finance, and government services. As these infrastructures become increasingly interconnected through Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), cyber-physical systems (CPS), cloud computing, edge intelligence, and Artificial Intelligence (AI), they are exposed to a rapidly evolving landscape of cyber threats. Sophisticated attacks, including ransomware, Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs), supply chain compromises, insider threats, AI-enabled cyberattacks, and attacks targeting Operational Technology (OT) and Industrial Control Systems (ICS), have highlighted the urgent need for resilient and intelligent cybersecurity strategies. Protecting critical infrastructure requires the integration of advanced AI-driven threat detection, secure system architectures, real-time monitoring, predictive analytics, and resilient incident response mechanisms.
The International Conference on Cyber Security in Artificial Intelligence (ICCSAI 2027) invites original research contributions on Critical Infrastructure Protection. This track provides an international forum for researchers, cybersecurity professionals, AI experts, industry practitioners, infrastructure operators, and policymakers to present innovative research and practical solutions for securing critical infrastructure against current and emerging cyber threats. Contributions addressing AI-enabled cyber defense, Industrial Control System (ICS) security, Operational Technology (OT) protection, cyber resilience, secure communication networks, privacy-preserving technologies, digital twins, and regulatory compliance are highly encouraged.
