Biography:

Dr. Cyril Gay obtained his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University, and a Ph.D. in Microbiology from The George Washington University. Dr. Gay has held several positions of increasing responsibility in the federal government and the pharmaceutical industry, including Chief, Biotechnology Section, Center for Veterinary Biologics (CVB), United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), and Director, Global Product Development, Livestock Products, Pfizer Animal Health. Dr. Gay joined Agricultural Research Service (ARS), USDA, in 2002 and is responsible for providing program direction and national coordination for the Department’s animal health research program. Dr. Gay is the Section Editor, Veterinary Science, for the IABS Journal, Biologicals, and serves on the scientific committee of the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases annual vaccine research conference.
