Biography:

Masoud H. Manjili is a Professor of Immunology at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) and Member of Massey Cancer Center. He obtained his PhD degree in immunology from the University of Sydney, Australia, and completed his postdoctoral fellowship in tumor immunology at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Buffalo, New York. 

Dr. Manjili’s research is focused on immunotherapy of cancer dormancy and developing strategies to overcome tumor immunoediting. His group has demonstrated that Ki67- quiescent but not Ki67low indolent dormant cells are resistant to immunoediting and the best target for immunotherapy.
